I stayed at this hotel for the first time last July, intrigued by the offer of a week of basic fasting, and I was thrilled with the experience.
It is actually a controlled dietary regime based on "healthy" but delicious dishes (something I never would have imagined, as I usually love pasta and desserts), all presented in a very appealing way. I ate wonderfully and even lost weight.
In addition to the excellent food, I also appreciated everything about the setting: the quiet location, just a short walk from the center and the bus station, the cozy rooms, the cleanliness of the rooms and the spa, and, last but not least, the kindness and helpfulness of the owners and staff.
Equally wonderful – and, for me, unmissable – were the morning hikes and evening walks guided by the expert Paul, who was always attentive and eager to meet the needs of both less active and more dynamic guests, recommending tailored routes.
Another bonus: I also met friendly and pleasant guests, making for enjoyable company.
After the delightful experience in July, I returned in October, and both times I left wanting to come back as soon as possible, perhaps even to ski in the nearby Speikboden ski area.
A truly relaxing and rejuvenating place for both body and spirit.
